Events Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an Account Manager in a varied and exciting B2B role. You responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of corporate events.

Events Manager R esponsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Develop an overall schedule of activities for corporate events, on behalf of the client
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and manage relationships with outside suppliers
  • Ensure proposal documents and presentations are completed satisfactorily where required
  • Monitor progress against the project schedule
  • Manage and deliver budgeted margins by event or project
  • Report to the clients on their account status and performance

Events Manager Requirements

  • Experience of taking client briefs, producing proposals, planning and delivering events
  • Experience of managing a small team and cost budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written English, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • Confident, positive and a team player
  • It is also essential you can drive and have access to a car

The Location

Based south of Oxford, with onsite parking, this is a hybrid-working opportunity, with 3 days per week required in the office. Core working hours are 9am-5.30pm (5pm on Fridays) with a 1-hr lunch break - this can vary on event days. Due to the nature of the industry, weekends are occasionally worked, however you will get time off in lieu for these.
