Events Housing Specialist

THE COMPANY

This fantastic company is an industry leader, having been consistently growing its services, client base and reputation for over 20 years and now employing close to 500 people. They offer a wide range of services including event management, business and group travel, venue finding and event technology across a broad client base with a heavy leaning towards professional services.

Events can range from a VIP meeting in London for 50 delegates, to a high-end meeting for 300 or a partner conference for up to 2,000 across the globe!  

THE ROLE

As Events Housing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing accommodation needs for a range of dedicated client accounts. Responsibilities include:

-          Liaising with clients on specific needs

-          Organising accommodation requirements

-          Managing coordination of hotel suppliers

-          Managing room allocations, reservations and individual guest requests

-          Building relationships with all stakeholders

-          Monitoring bookings to avoid cancellation costs

-          Negotiating rates and commissions

-          Communicating all final arrangements with guests

-          Paying invoices and creating financial reports

-          Supporting the wider team where required

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates who are ambitious and passionate about the events industry. Individuals must have proven administrative experience within the events sector and show a high level of attention to detail and organisation. Any experience managing housing and accommodation requirements for events would be beneficial.
