Tapestry is a UK Market Research company who are proud to be part of the Screen Engine Brand.

We’re now looking for an Events Coordinator, to join our newly established Tapestry Events team. This team is closely affiliated with the Screen Engine - supporting the delivery of content research in the UK on behalf of the entertainment industry.

Reporting to the Events Team Lead, you will take a key role in running audience test screenings and focus groups for upcoming films and television shows. You’ll be greeting, directing, and interacting with event invitees, using digital devices and emerging technologies provided by the company as tools to help check in guests and acquire data, and pro-actively approach invitees that may have concerns/complaints to resolve issues. You’ll also assist with prepping and distributing onsite materials, thank attendees as they exit the venue and provide support and assistance to members of the Events team as needed.

We’re looking for a strong and confident communicator - someone who has an affable and friendly personality and easily interacts with other people. You’ll be someone who can present information effectively and concisely, able to respond to questions from the public and co-workers, and listen attentively to others, asking clarifying questions to gain a better understanding of another person’s views, needs and assumptions. With strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment, you’ll work effectively as a team and actively participate in problem solving.

Customer service and event support experience is desirable, but not essential.

Working requirements;

  • Hours and days vary depending on when screenings are scheduled, typically weekdays 4pm - 10pm and mornings/afternoons on weekends. There are no minimum hours guaranteed.
  • Shift are usually between 4-7 hours long, but may vary.
  • Senior Event staff receive priority booking with the possibility to travel abroad.
  • Most screenings take place at movie theatres and screening rooms primarily in London, but there may be requirement to travel throughout the UK.
  • Events Coordinators are responsible for transportation to and from events, but will be reimbursed for reasonable travel (i.e. mileage or public transport).
  • You will be asked to submit weekly availability providing us with your availability and you will be required to accept hours based on that availability with reasonable notice.
