Events Coordinator

City of London | Hybrid (One day a week in the office)

£32,000 - £38,000

Our client, a London based charity, is looking for an Events Coordinator to join their team to support on the planning and organisation of global corporate and high-profile events.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting into the Special Events Manager, you will play a key role in organising and coordinating events, overseeing logistics and taking ownership over any promotional tasks. The role will focus on corporate events and occasional donor and smaller high profile events also:
  • Coordinating, attend and minute committee meetings
  • Support the Special Events Manager in all logistical aspects
  • Take ownership of certain elements of the role (i.e. merchandising and branding)
  • Manage suppliers and contractors
  • Liasing with participants on event information
  • Monitoring data
  • Attend events when needed
  • Support UK branches with fundraising initiatives
WHO YOU ARE

Our client is looking for a candidate with a proven track record of coordinating successful events, ideally within the corporate sector. You will be a proactive person with a positive attitude able to work autonomously and be flexible when needed.  Anyone with a high end events/ catering  background or with experience in a high end hotels banqueting suite could be a good fit for this role!

  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Confident and professional when presenting to small groups
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working on events from incepetion to execution
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
