Our client, a luxury hotel & wedding venue, are looking for an Events Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events, from weddings, corporate conferences and other events.

The candidate will be a strong all-rounder when it comes to events. The venue is heavily focused on Weddings during peak season, but also have a lot of conferences and private events that require support and understanding.

The Events Manager will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that each event is executed flawlessly and achieves its objectives.

  1. Event Planning and Coordination:

    • Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, and task lists.
    • Coordinate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and requirements.
    • Source and negotiate with vendors, including venues, caterers, decorators, AV technicians, and entertainment providers.
    • Oversee all logistical arrangements, such as transportation, accommodations, and equipment rentals.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
  2. Team Management:

    • Lead and motivate a team of event staff, including coordinators, assistants, and volunteers.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, providing clear instructions and deadlines.
    • Conduct regular meetings to update team members on event progress and address any challenges.
  3. Client Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process.
    • Communicate regularly to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
    • Anticipate and resolve issues proactively to ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Marketing and Promotion:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies for events.
    • Utilize various channels, such as social media, email campaigns, and press releases, to generate excitement and drive attendance.
    • Monitor and analyze event metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  5. On-Site Management:

    • Supervise event setup, ensuring that all elements are in place according to the plan.
    • Manage staff and vendors during the event, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
    • Facilitate smooth transitions between event segments and activities
