Events play a vital role in the promotion of SRUC, whether we are highlighting our courses to prospective students; offering advice and services to farmers or showcasing our organisation to politicians and stakeholders. They offer the chance for face-to-face interaction and provide an opportunity to showcase all that we have to offer here at SRUC.

The Opportunity:

Events play a crucial role in the promotion of SRUC as it continues its journey to become an enterprise university at the heart of the natural economy.

Duties include:

• Keeping the events calendar up to date

• Managing the Events email inbox

• Booking stand spaces and marquees

• Handling equipment requests and booking couriers

• Cataloguing events equipment in the warehouse

• Maintaining events equipment and ordering new collateral when required

• Booking hire vehicles and extra equipment when required

• Raising purchase orders

• Occasional working at events/webinars

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate should be educated to SCQF Level 5 or above.
