An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client who are based on the outskirts of Thatcham for an Events Administrator. This is a term time only position + 2 weeks, paying an annual salary of £18,798. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM.

As the Events Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the preparation, co-ordination, and development of large music events for the business.
  • Supporting with the day-to-day planning and administration in the department including taking minutes of meetings.
  • Key point of contact for communication with the department including meetings and timelines.
  • Liaising with staff, and support departments, particularly in the planning of events and sharing of rehearsal schedules.
  • Maintaining a strong social media presence on all relevant social media sites.
  • Maintaining library databases.
  • Undertaking any other duties as required by the Music department.

The successful Events Administrator will have the following related skills / experience:

  • An interest in music administration and/or events management.
  • Strong organisational, IT and administrative skills.
  • Confident communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
  • A flexible approach to work
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
  • Have a commitment to ongoing training and learning.
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
