Event Hotel Specialist

We have a truly fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in the business travel and/or meetings & events sector to work alternative hours!

The company you'll be working for co-ordinates a huge range of meetings and events across the globe for businesses, sporting bodies and much more. Your position as Event Hotel Specialist means you'll be responsible for the accommodation needs for corporate clients within hotels - room reservations, allocations, special request.. You name it, if it’s to do with their accommodation, you’ll be on hand to assist.

Where & when?

• The role is a homeworking opportunity and is full time, Monday- Friday.. The hours are to cover the US working day in part, ideally 3pm -11pm UK time (but may be somewhat flexible on that)..

What are they looking for?

• Previous experience working within business travel and/or meetings and events is essential and an understanding of the US market would be a bonus.

• A motivated and enthusiastic approach

• An approachable and service driven personality

• A real team player who is keen to learn and support the wider team, as you will be supported yourself

• Knowledge of CVent would be useful

• Knowledge of sourcing and handling small group accommodation requests
