Our client, a prestigious national tier 1 contractor, is in search of a talented individual to join their team as an Estimator. This permanent role is based in Peterborough (hybrid working available), focusing on projects within the Anglian Water region.

About the Role: As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for water infrastructure projects within the Anglian Water region. Working closely with project teams, you'll analyse project requirements, review tender documents, and collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to develop comprehensive estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations
• Analyse project specifications and requirements to accurately assess costs and risks
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of estimates with project objectives and client expectations
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and develop cost breakdowns
• Review and validate cost estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
• Support bid teams in the preparation of tender submissions, providing valuable input on cost-related matters

About You: We're seeking candidates with a strong background in Estimating, particularly within the water sector. Experience with water treatment projects and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and regulations will be highly beneficial. You'll have exceptional analytic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
