The Search Group requires a Estimator with experience in the construction industry for our London based client.

Key Requirements:

- Extensive experience in estimating within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in formwork and groundworks estimation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

- Analyse project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate estimates for formwork and groundworks.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather relevant data for estimation.
- Utilise estimating software and tools to ensure precision and efficiency in cost calculations.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and pricing documents.
- Participate in tender negotiations and provide support in securing contracts.
- Monitor project costs and provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to optimise profitability.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in construction estimating.

Location: Harrow, with work primarily in London.

Schedule: Long-term freelance position, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
