Estimator

Job description

I am working with a fast growing business in the retail fit-out sector operating across the UK. The business is recruiting an experienced Estimator to join the expanding team. The role will report to the Managing Director.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely estimates for materials, labour and other costs including carry out take-offs from drawings.

Communicate with sales team, project managers and engineers to ensure the estimate meets project requirements.

Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits nationwide as required to produce scope of works within budget

Prepare technical documentation.

Reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand the scope of work and client requirements.

Required skills and experience:

Extensive experience in an Estimator role preferably within retail fit-out or building services.

Experience in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications.

Strong mathematical ability

Strong Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience of AutoCAD preferred
