Estimator

Estimator required to join an industry leading architectural glazing specialist based in the Buckinghamshire area. They have been working on façade, curtain walling, balustrading, and glass roof projects throughout the UK focusing within the commercial sector. Due to continued growth and success, the company are now looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team at their head office in Buckinghamshire.

The most suitable Estimator will have a good background working within the façade, curtain walling or cladding sector and have experience of using different curtain walling systems (for example SAPA, Logikal, Aluk, Reynaers, Schuecal etc.)

Estimator Position Overview:

• Review tender enquiry documents
• Take off quantities where necessary from drawings
• Attend sites as required and take clients brief
• Identify, prepare and send out enquiries for materials
• Receive and evaluate prices for materials and sub-contractors
• Build up prices using our estimating system
• Submit the price for adjudication
• Attend mid-bid and post tender meetings
• Prepare handover documents once a project has been secured

Estimator Position Requirements:

• Experienced with architectural glazing projects
• Commercially aware
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
• Strong communication skills
• Curtain walling system experience
• Full UK Driving License

Estimator Position Remuneration:

• Salary £28,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
• Company benefits to be discussed at interview
• 28 days holiday
• Pension
