Location: Bristol or surrounding area

Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator - Roofing Systems will involve:

· Estimating role dealing with all aspects of roofing and carpentry services for new-build developments, schools, hospitals and student accommodation

· Supporting the Senior Estimator with all estimating duties

· Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

· Producing formal quotations to customers

· Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

· Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

· Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information

· Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors and assessing the risk level associated with a project

· The role is predominantly office based, however will occasionally will have to go to site to measure up and provide quotations for clients

The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Roofing Systems with:

· Must have proven estimating experience within the construction industry working for either a main contractor or subcontractor

· Ideally will have an understanding of roofing and roof carpentry however this isn’t essential

· Enthusiastic and driven

· Confident individual who can provide excellent customer service

· Must have full UK driving license

· High levels of organisation and attention to detail

· Computer literate (Microsoft Office etc)

· Good literacy and numeracy skills
