About Us:

We are a reputable commercial fit out company with a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial new builds, shopfitting, and new build housing. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our team.

Role Overview:

As a Front-End Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a crucial role in our projects. You’ll collaborate closely with our Commercial Manager, Directors, and existing team. Your responsibilities will span from project procurement to final account reporting. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  1. Cost Estimation: Analyze construction plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine material quantities and calculate costs.
  2. Bill of Quantities: Produce and price bills of quantity from drawings and specifications.
  3. Tender and Contract Documents: Prepare tender and contract documents.
  4. Financial Analysis: Analyze current and upcoming project finances.
  5. Commercial Changes: Develop responses to commercial changes.
  6. Subcontract Management: Manage subcontractors.
  7. Site Visits: Familiarity with site visits and client-facing activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven Record: At least 4 years of surveying experience in the drylining and partitioning industry.
  • Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the fit-out industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, numeracy, literacy, and communication in English.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office and take-off software (e.g., K10 specifications)
