Estimator - Manufacturing

Estimator required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of sheet metal products based in the Thetford area. Due to continued success and growth of the business they are seeking an Estimator with exposure to a manufacturing environment, to join the team.

The successful candidate will be assisting the implementation of an MRP system, whilst collating information to produce a standardised quotation system.

Estimator - Manufacturing Position Overview

• Gathering information on production times, material costs and resource requirements to produce a standardised pricing structure with the use of an MRP system
• Providing quotes to customers from off-plan drawings / specifications
• Managing customer orders and updating the system with order requirements
• Assisting the development of the accounts system

Estimator - Manufacturing Position Requirements

• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience within an estimating related role
• Based in a commutable distance of Thetford
• Previous experience with an MRP system
• Good commercial acumen
• Proficient with MS Office suite

Estimator - Manufacturing Position Remuneration

• Salary £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
• Holiday allowance and pension
