Location: North West London

Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Estimator - Glazing Systems will involve:

• Estimator position producing estimates for a high end manufactured range of architectural glazing systems such as: curtain walling, fire rated glazing & structural glazing
• Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
• Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
• Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
• Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
• Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
• Preparing handover documents for the contracts department, once a project has been secured
• Attending pre & post tender meetings as and when required (predominantly within M25)
• Estimating for tender packages in value of circa £10m
• Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Glazing Systems experience with:

• Must have 3+ years estimating experience within the facades market sector
• Ideally have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing & structural glazing
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Ideally experienced on LogiKal or Schucal software
• Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
