Salary £31,350.00 Per Annum Plus Benefits

Permanent, Full Time

37 hours per week (Monday - Friday, Flexibility Negotiable)

Thrive Homes is looking for an Estates Officer to carry out routine estate visits and complete inspections of the communal areas within our portfolio of properties across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.

This varied front-line role will provide a comprehensive service to our customers and be focused on the 'relationship' between the customer, Thrive, our partners and stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Undertake 'flick testing’ to the communal lighting through the blocks.
  • AOV testing where applicable during block inspections.
  • Booking and monitoring the follow up of works and actions and to complete associated administration for grounds maintenance, cleaning and communal area repairs.
  • Identify and escalate support requirements to the appropriate support channel (e.g. sustainment and intervention).
  • Undertake and review cleaning and grounds maintenance inspections, highlighting areas for improvement through the correct channels.
  • Collaborating and supporting across the team and business to ensure resolution of issues are achieved.
  • Carrying out estate inspections to check cleaning, grounds maintenance, identify repairs and hazards such as fly tipping or bulky waste.
  • Responding to complaints and queries related to estate services and where necessary, meet customers and/or contractors on site as part of the resolution process.

Requirements:

  • Full Driving Licence and use of a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within Housing, Facilities or Property Management.
  • Trained on flick testing and AOV checks would be beneficial.
  • Experience of delivering a service to a diverse customer base.
  • The ability to engage with customers at all levels, providing updates on communal works as well as highlighting issues to our dedicated health and safety team and contractors.
  • Experience of working with external contractors to achieve positive outcomes for customers is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, and confident with a 'can-do’ attitude.
