The Fire and Rescue Service in Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and well-motivated Administration Officer to join their busy but friendly Estates Team.

Estates Administration Officer

  • Grade 3 - £25,119 - £26,873
  • 37 hours (Monday to Friday)
  • Permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

You will assist with the effective administration and delivery of a range of Estates activities including:

  • Acting as the initial point of contact for the reporting and monitoring of building related defects.
  • Liaising with colleagues, crews on stations and NFRS tenants regarding the administration of help desk requests, utilising a Computer Aided FM System for defect recording monitoring and reporting.
  • Liaising with the Estates maintenance contractor, ensuring all help desk requests are actioned in accordance with prescribed requirements and timescales.
  • Utilising billing portals to collate and process utilities invoices and using our client’s Finance System to raise and process orders and payments for goods and services - ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day administration of various leases and licences - acting as a main point of contact for lease and licence holder queries.
  • Assisting the Estates Officer with the day-to-day administration of the electronic access control system to ensure timely administration of access and data requests.


Experience/Qualification

  • Customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office systems (Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • Although not essential, experience of working with a CAFM system and/or in a construction or Facilities Management environment would be advantageous.
