Estates Manager 
Birmingham 
£35,290 per annum

We are currently seeking a dedicated Estate Manager to work closely with the MOD in Birmingham.  

About the role: 

As the Estate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the management and assurance of Hard and Soft FM services for users of the Volunteer Estate. Reporting to the Senior Estate Manager, you will collaborate with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services meets the needs of the Volunteer Estate within your designated area of responsibility. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee and support the delivery of day-to-day Hard and Soft FM services. 
  • Manage contracts and suppliers effectively. 
  • Plan and assure maintenance/minor works programs. 
  • Act as a primary point of contact to ensure customer needs are met. 
  • Collaborate with customers, industry partners, and stakeholders in project planning, delivery, and assurance, with projects valued up to €5m. 
  • Deputise for the Senior Estate Manager as required. 

Requirements: 
  • Relevant professional qualifications and memberships. 
  • Clear demonstration of contract management and assurance in all FM environments. 
  • Local management of key suppliers 
  • Commercial experience gained within a property, facilities management, or similar function.  
  • Regular travel around the Midlands with occasional UK Travel and overnight stays. 
  • You will require to be vetted and submit a DBS check.  

Salary and Benefits: 
  • Salary: £35,290 per annum. 
  • Option to join the pension scheme with employer contribution at 13% and employee contribution at 5%. 
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year up to 30 days. 
  • Those with 5 years’ prior service with HM Forces/OGD will start with 30 days’ entitlement. 
  • Please note all successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check .
