Household Scheme Account Handler

  • Providing administration support to our front-line team
  • Producing renewal invitations by calculating the premium and attaching any necessary endorsements, make appropriate amendments to statement of facts in accordance with the individual risk
  • Ensuring documentation and systems are accurate
  • Produce renewal notification email and attach appropriate documents
  • Chase outstanding renewal instructions
  • Deal with incoming enquiries/emails/post including processing payments, issuing receipts and other documents
  • Raise invoices in line with Company accounting procedures and manage account payment
  • Chase outstanding payments
  • Complete the administration of client's insurance requirements on a daily basis
  • Working in a compliant and timely manner on all cases

Experience/attributes preferred:

  • Preferably a minimum of 1 years Personal Lines Insurance experience
  • You'll have a solid background in Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Broking platform experience (Acturis in an ideal world) depending on your experience
  • You'll be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients at all levels
  • Comfortable in dealing with customer enquiries via phone, letter and email
  • Flexibility, understanding and assisting colleagues when the workload of others is greater than your own, or when your specific knowledge is required
  • Given the nature of this role we do require candidates to carry out duties within the strictest of confidence
