One of the areas most highly regarded and established Property Firms business based in Shropshire and servicing clients in Shropshire, Herefordshire, surrounding counties and Wales are looking to recruit a polished and experienced Estate Agency Sales Negotiator for their award winning office.

As a result of a staff departure at a time of growth in our property sales business they are looking to appoint an ambitious, polished and personable residential sales negotiator to join the lively and energetic property sales team based.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in this sector.

Candidates must be confident and comfortable in the presence of mid to upper market clients. Candidates also need to have an understanding or empathy with the countryside, agriculture and rural communities would be a distinct advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills - including a confident telephone manner
  • Excellent written English and typing skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records
  • Self organised and able to prioritize and use initiative
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Self motivated and able to work unsupervised
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong team player with good people skills
  • Driving license and car owner
  • Knowledge of local area and estate agency would be a distinct advantage

Typical Tasks:

  • Dealing with vendors, buyers and property professionals face to face, on the phone and by email - with a high emphasis on customer service
  • Conducting market appraisals and viewings
  • Managing the entire sales and negotiating process to completion
  • Producing letters, emails and reports using Word and Outlook
  • Producing marketing reports and general correspondence
  • Maintaining property sales enquiry / negotiation records
  • Maintaining an accurate and up to date paper and IT filing system
  • Managing call lists
  • Applicant management
  • Diary management
  • Collation of property information and reports (prep)
  • General housekeeping in the office
  • Assisting with events
  • Compiling feedback from viewings

Software skills:

  • Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Reapit (in-house platform - training provided)

Reporting to the Head of Sales - this opportunity would suit a bright, outgoing and highly organized team-player that is looking to progress in their Estate Agency career.
