Robert Walters are partnered with a large manufacturing business in cheshire who are seeking to recruit an ESG Reporting Manager. This is a crucial role in the team for someone with strong data analysis skills that will be responsible for driving all aspects of the annual reporting process as well as driving sustainability across the business.

Key Responsibilities,
* Lead the preparation of annual ESG reports
* Oversee the ESG data collection process, ensuring that data is timely and accurate.
* Work with auditors to assure annual ESG reports
* Review ESG criteria against various standards
* Identify, advise on and implement new ESG reporting and disclosure practices
* Keep up to date with relevant legislations and changes in best practice
* Work with a number of other departments across the business to implement improvements for their ESG reporting
* Ensure that employees are aware of their responsibilities and accountability surrounding ESG, offering training where appropriate
* Work with business supply chain to ensure compliance to EU deforestation regulations
* Assist the VP Global Regulatory Compliance, with the development of the company's strategies for ESG reporting

Key Requirements
* Master's degree in relevant field e.g. Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or other technical / science-based education
* Prior experience involving dealing with appropriate legislation, guidance and best practice for any ESG processes.
* Solid understanding of ESG reporting and disclosure requirements (legal/standards) and trends, some experience of successfully preparing ESG reports preferred
* Strong interpersonal and an ability to work with senior stakeholders and leaders, build rapport across functional boundaries as well as people of diverse backgrounds
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support the accurate provision of ESG information to external stakeholders
