ESG Manager - Leading Law Firm

The company

A highly regarded, law firm that work on an international level with a wide range of clients to solve their most complex legal challenges.

The role specifics

• Ensure ESG is strategically aligned to the Firm's agenda
• Establish an ESG Programme Management Office (PMO) and report all progress to stakeholders with expected benefits
• Deliver the ESG Programme Plan - managing risks and ensuring key initiatives are delivered
• Project Management of plan once implemented, whilst maintaining all projects and initiatives are achieved to a high standard

Role requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• A strong academic record
• Formal project management qualification (such as APMQ or MSP)
• Understanding of ESG principles and frameworks (e.g., CSRD, TCFD, CDP, UN Global Compact, Ecovadis, Modern Slavery, climate disclosures) is preferred, but the ability to quickly learn effectively in this area is what is necessary
• Experience of leading business transformation projects, working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Significant track record of end-to-end delivery of projects, including demonstrable experience of shaping complex multi-workstream programmes
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the Firm at all levels,
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects & resources to strict deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
• Be able to meet responsibilities with minimal direct supervision
