Equity Trade Matching , Trade Settlements Clerk , New York

The Role

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will work US hours which will be 2pm - 10pm (GMT) however relocation to the New York office would also be considered. 

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will be responsible for all operational aspects of Equity Trade Matching and Settlements. The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clark will support Long only and Hedge Fund Products and handle both pre-matching and late settlements for markets including Europe, Scandinavia, Far East and Emerging Markets. The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clark will develop close working relationships with the executing brokers, diverse custodians and prime brokers and there will be opportunity to gain an understanding of non-equity related transactions such as Futures, FX, Interest Rate Swaps and CFD’s.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will ensure Trade Matching across asset classes with External Counterparties and assist with management of failed trades including liaising with custodians/prime brokers/brokers.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will raise manual instructions for non STP transactions.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will maintain Omgeo Alert and SS&C databases in respect of standard settlement instructions.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will maintain the Fund/Country settlement matrix of permitted markets per managed accounts.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will ensure daily processing of subscriptions and redemptions across funds.

The Equity Trade Matching & Settlements Clerk will undertake Ad Hoc project work.

The Candidate

+2 Years experience in Equity Trade Matching or Settlements or In Equity Operations.

Essential - Attention to detail, accuracy and diligence.

Pro-active, flexible and willing to be involved with all aspects of investment operations.

Systems competent/proficient in Excel.

Ability to work in a team and to communicate clearly.

A working knowledge of Omgeo CTM or experience of similar trade matching system -  desirable.

Experience of the LVTS Longview Portfolio Management System & Beauchamp Accounting System - advantageous
