Enterprise Architect - Technology and Platform – 6 months – Outside IR35 – Hybrid

About the Role:

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and directing simplified technology domain architectures and roadmaps. Your expertise will help align business and technology strategies, ensuring a coherent and consistent architecture that supports our client's future growth and transformation plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technology domain architects and platform engineering directors to establish a new architecture operating model.
• Create and maintain technology domain architecture artefacts and guardrails, ensuring consistency and usability.
• Oversee and manage Architecture Design Decisions (ADDs) across all technology domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process, managing exceptions, waivers, risks, and actions effectively.
• Foster an engaged Architecture Community of Practice, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Drive continual improvement of the architecture operating model and ARB processes.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect within a complex IT landscape.
• Strong technical background in at least two technology domains such as security, cloud, data, or application development.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in matrix and federated organizational structures.
• Familiarity with agile architecture operating models and modern workplace products and services.
