This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting central government organisation as an Enterprise Architect for an initial 6 month period.

Client Details

My client is a central government organisation with sites in London and the Midlands. Due to continued growth and a large IT systems portfolio they require an Enterprise Architect to join them for a minimum of 6 months.

Description

The successful Enterprise Architect will:

  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and implement IT strategies
  • Ensure the alignment of business and technology strategies
  • Advise on technology trends and best practices
  • Develop architectural models to guide IT investment decisions
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of IT services and products
  • Contribute to the development of IT policies and standards
  • Provide architectural guidance and oversight during project delivery
  • Promote the sharing and reuse of IT assets across the department

Profile

The successful Enterprise Architect should have:

  • Experience in enterprise architecture methodologies and tools
  • Good understanding of solution architecture principles, a background in solutioning would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of IT governance and operations
  • Understanding of technology trends and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Offer

£550 - £650 per day dependent on experience (rate to umbrella, inside IR35).

This role is hybrid and the successful candidate will need to be on-site infrequently as projects require.
