Enterprise Account Executive, Financial Services

£120k base £255k OTE

We’re currently engaged with a leading US SaaS vendor based, specializing in governance, risk and compliance, they’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to help scale their financial services vertical in EMEA.

Position Overview:We are seeking a driven and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join an existing sales team and drive revenue growth within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in new business development and exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development:
    • Identify and prospect new enterprise-level clients within the financial services industry, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to uncover opportunities.
    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate target accounts, understanding their business objectives and pain points to position our solutions effectively.
    • Conduct high-level discovery meetings and presentations to key stakeholders, articulating the value proposition of our products/services and securing buy-in.
  1. Sales Performance and Targets:
    • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for new business acquisition, consistently delivering revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
    • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineers and solution architects, to develop customized solutions that address client needs and differentiate us from competitors.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers within target accounts, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
    • Understand clients' business objectives and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products/services to drive revenue growth.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
  1. Market Insights and Competitive Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the financial services sector, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
    • Conduct competitive analysis to understand our strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors, positioning us effectively in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales roles within the SaaS industry, with a focus on new business development.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry, including knowledge of key players, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
