As an English Teacher at this school you will be joining an experienced and driven team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are committed to giving every child a second chance. The Headteacher and Executive Head are truly inspirational and want the best for every child. You will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 and 4 students up to GCSE and will be supported by a minimum of one TA at any time. This role does require a qualified English Teacher and experience with challenging behaviours is desirable.
Job Role:
- Teaching English to KS3 & KS4 students who have been excluded from mainstream education.
- Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students with SEMH needs.
- Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative.
- Delivering engaging, informative, and inspirational lessons.
- A long term or permanent opportunity within an excellent SEMH school.
- Excellent support from dedicated leadership.
