Qualified English Teacher Required for Ofsted Good Alternative Provision in Solihull. Are you an English Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience teaching students who have struggled to engage in lessons?  This dynamic alternative provision is looking to add an experienced English Teacher to the team to teach classes of no more than 6 students with SEMH needs.

As an English Teacher at this school you will be joining an experienced and driven team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who are committed to giving every child a second chance. The Headteacher and Executive Head are truly inspirational and want the best for every child. You will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 and 4 students up to GCSE and will be supported by a minimum of one TA at any time. This role does require a qualified English Teacher and experience with challenging behaviours is desirable.
Job Role:
  • Teaching English to KS3 & KS4 students who have been excluded from mainstream education.
  • Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students with SEMH needs.
  • Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative.
  • Delivering engaging, informative, and inspirational lessons.
