TEFL Teacher - 13,000 -18,000 RMB p/m - Shenzhen, China

The Role

Grads Gone Global are recruiting fresh university graduates from any discipline and experienced teachers in public schools in the dazzling city of Shenzhen, China.

We offer the opportunity to teach English to students aged 6-18, with a focus on creating a fun and engaging learning environment.

This is a contract length of 1 year with two intakes September 2024 and February 2025, the working hours do not exceed 40hrs p/w and teaching hours do not exceed 20hrs p/w (Mon-Fri).

If you are due to graduate soon, or do not yet possess a TEFL / CELTA certificate, but are interested in the position, we’d still love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging English lessons to students.
  • Planning and preparing effective lesson materials (support and resources provided).
  • Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment.

The Person

  • Hold a passport from UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above (any discipline).
  • Possess a TEFL or CELTA teaching certificate, (If you do not currently possess one, they are quick and cheap to obtain) or have at least 2 years of English teaching experience with a reference letter provided.
  • Possess a clean criminal record.
  • 50 years old or under for VISA purposes.
