Exciting Opportunity: English Teacher - Full-Time Long-Term Supply Position in a South Birmingham Secondary School.

Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher seeking a teaching role starting from September look no further!

Tradewind is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in south Birmingham. This is a long-term full-time position for a minimum of 1 terms supply with potential for permanent opportunities. Applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome. The ability to teach English Language and English Literature to KS3 & 4 is essential.

The pay rates for this position will be dependent on experience from MPS1- UPS3 (£153.85 - £238.59 per day)

The role:

  • Teaching both English Language and English Literature to KS3 & 4 is essential.
  • Full-time, long-term position.
  • Full teacher responsibility, including planning, delivering, and marking lessons. Attendance at CPD sessions and parents evenings may be required.

The essentials:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one.
  • A complete 10-year career history.
  • Minimum of 2 references, including your most recent employment reference.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
