Our client is a small, progressive and modern coeducational independent senior school and sixth form based in London, presently they are looking to appoint an English Teacher to join them on a permanent contract for September 2024.
The school in question has both a senior school and sixth form site, the successful applicant will work with students from Key Stage 3 to 5 to ensure the continuation of excellent outcomes, the leavers at KS5 often go on to the most prestigious Universities in the UK and around the world including Oxford and Cambridge.
The role in question is a full time, permanent teaching post and will include some personal tutor and cocurricular duties. The successful English Teacher will have a high-level degree in a relevant subject area and a demonstrable track record of delivering outstanding examination results, a PGCE qualification is desirable but not essential. The school is willing to consider applications from both experienced English Teachers as well as ECT applicants.
The appointed English Teacher will receive a highly competitive salary in line with the schools' own generous pay scale in addition to paid for training and development opportunities as the school continues its journey of growth and excellence.
