As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Our ideal candidate is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also enthusiastic about making English literature and language studies accessible and enjoyable for students of varying abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
  2. Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
  3. Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make English literature and language studies relevant and captivating for students.
  4. Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
  5. A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Teaching certification in English.
  • PGCE/QTS/QTLS
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
