Are you an English Teacher looking for a vibrant and diverse school community, located in the culturally rich area of Sandwell. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to inspiring students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to develop their love for English literature and language in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Foster a love for literature and language through the exploration of a wide range of texts, genres, and writing styles.
  • Support students in developing their reading, writing, and communication skills, providing targeted feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas for enhancing the teaching and learning experience.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in English with the ability to teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
  • Experience working in a multicultural school environment is desirable but not essential.
