English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Summer Term)

Are you a qualified and experienced English teacher with a passion for fostering a love of literature and language within young minds? Our reputable secondary school in Rotherham is seeking a dedicated individual to join our established team of educators for the upcoming Summer Term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Create stimulating learning environments that encourage student participation and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and attainment.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
• Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and improving teaching practices.
