English Teacher required to join a vibrant Birmingham Secondary School. Are you a qualified English Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity teaching as part of an experienced and outstanding team of English Teachers? This busy school are looking for a driven and ambitious English Teacher to inspire a love for all things English Literature and English Language. A passion for your subject and a genuine joy for teaching is essential for this role as the school believes that you should love what you do! With a small and dedicated team of English Teachers, who are determined to inspire a love for English it is clear to see why the English Department is so successful.

As an English Teacher you will be hold full planning and marking responsibilities and teach across Key Stages 3 & 4. Behaviour is generally good, and there is a willingness to learn from most students. You will have access to a wide range of resources and the HOD is focused on providing a high level of support to all English teachers. This role requires a teacher who has a brilliant subject knowledge and is able to plan and deliver creative, engaging and inspiring lessons. You must be a QTS or QTLS English teacher to be considered for this role.
Job Role:
  • Teaching across the English curriculum to Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Leading GCSE English booster sessions for students that require additional support
  • Working in unison with the HOD and English Teachers to plan outstanding lessons
  • Breaking down barriers to education and making English accessible to all students
