Academics are looking for an English Teacher or English Instructor to carry out a short term contract in an 'Outstanding' specialist school in the Lyndhurst area, Hampshire from May half term until the end of the academic year.

The timetable that needs covering includes Year 9 English, Year 10 (Functional Skills) English and Year 11 (they will have finished English, but they will stay with the school until the end of the year.). There are two Reading lessons per week - one Year 8 and one Year 9.

This role would be suitable for a qualified or unqualified teacher. There is the possibility of a part-time contract if more suited to you as the majority of the timetable is in the mornings. They would ideally like to provide a handover, so starting before half term would be advantageous, although not essential.

The school caters for pupils with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs. If you have worked in an SEN school, or have experience of teaching students with special needs, this would again but an advantage but not essential.

If you are an English Teacher or Instructor and you are available for the Summer half term, please apply!

Alternatively, if you are not free until September but you are looking for a new contract, please get in touch.
