As an English Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of future generations and fostering a love for language and literature. Here's what the role entails:

�? Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and dynamic English lessons to students across different year groups and abilities
  • Inspiring students to explore and analyze a range of literary texts, fostering critical thinking and creativity
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to succeed
  • Assessing student progress through various methods, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and contribute to the wider school community

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification in English
  • Passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to inspiring students' love for the subject
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level is preferred but not essential
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community
