About Us:

The Education Bureau invites enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to become part of our English Teacher (NET) program in Hong Kong's public-sector primary, secondary, and special schools. Our mission is to provide high-quality English language education to students and support their holistic development.

Role Description:

As a NET, you will be responsible for teaching English as a second language, fostering an engaging learning environment, and contributing to teacher and curriculum development. This role is vital in enhancing students' English proficiency and ensuring they are well-prepared for future challenges.

Key Details:

• Contract Duration: Two years (with the possibility of renewal)
• Starting Date: Mid-August 2024
• Location: Public-sector primary, secondary, and special schools in Hong Kong

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: Primary Schools: HK$34,060 - HK$65,875 per month (£3,420 - £6,614)
• Secondary Schools: HK$34,060 - HK$79,135 per month (£3,420 - £7,946)
• End of Contract Gratuity for Satisfactory Performance
• Retention Incentive for Continuous Service from the Third Year Onward
• Passage, Baggage, and Medical Allowances
• Special Allowance of HK$20,989 per month for Eligible Appointees from Overseas
