English Literature and Media Lecturer 

Salary £20,332 - £26,753 per annum (£28,637 - £37,681 FTE) 

Contractual hours 26.2 Part-Time and Permanent 

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the?South of England  

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding English Literature and Media Studies Lecturer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Role: The main function of this role is to work collaboratively both within the Academic Directorate and with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery and development of high-quality English Literature and Media Studies curriculum programmes. 

The successful candidate will have a subject related qualification to the minimum of degree level or equivalent, experience teaching (ideally in FE), along with a level 5 teacher qualification or a willingness to work towards achieving it. 

  • You will be working with students aged 16+  

  • Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential   

What you will need:  

  • A recognised teaching qualification  

  • Degree or equivalent in the related subject.  

  • Experience?  

  • Good classroom management?
