Exciting opportunity for a Senior English or Maths lecturer to join an experienced team at a local college.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths or English
• Support the learning of English and Maths teachers, and in doing so, improve teaching and learning.
• Provide short-term sickness cover for relevant lessons when required.
• Work with programme managers to ensure English and Maths is delivered smoothly and to a high standard
• Coordinate half-termly staff meetings for standardisation and general planning.
• Help teachers to contextualise the curriculum where needed.
• Lead on updating of delivery plans

Requirements:

• A Teaching Qualification, such as Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLLS, CTLLS, or PTLLS/AET.
• Degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification.
• Level 2 English or Maths (or equivalent)
• Demonstratable experience of advanced teaching practise
• Working knowledge of effective quality assurance processes
