Engineering Supervisor - Electrical Biased

Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Biased Engineering Supervisor on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a team and reporting into the Site Engineering Manager, the Engineering Supervisor will carry out planned preventative maintenance along with working on breakdown maintenance. This is a hands on Supervisory position and you will be required to diagnose electrical faults on a range of equipment associated with production and site services, as well as carry out improvements and project work.

• Supervise Electrical Technicians including Instruments and controls engineers and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with current regulations and standards
• Plan, schedule and coordinate electrical work, considering factors such as H&S, customer demand, project timelines, and resource availability
• Monitor the Work Order / Projects progress of the department and make any necessary adjustments to the schedule or work assignments as needed
• Ensure that all team members have the necessary training, resources and support to complete their tasks effectively
• Monitor the team's performance and identify any issues or areas for improvement
• Budget Management
• Attend and repair breakdowns as required
• Establish satisfactory manufacturing standards by the detailed documentation of work instructions and process maps

Essential Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the paper industry or similar process industry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading and managing teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Strong passion for quality excellence
