Engineering Stores Controller

Adecco are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a permanent, full time candidate to join their team. The hours are 9.00am -17.00pm Monday- Friday.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the site's stock control system efficiently, ensuring that engineering spares and equipment are maintained at optimal levels. This includes collaborating with other departments to facilitate the ordering, receipt, and distribution of parts.

Duties:

• Maintain computer-based stores stock system
• Responsibility for procurement procedures and goods receipting
• Daily and weekly stock counts
• Regular stock control reviews to ensure optimum levels
• Supporting a continuous improvement culture bringing examples of best practices and new ideas
• Support and liaise with Finance with a standardised and completed ordering process to minimise supplier invoicing queries
• Unloading of materials from lorries to stores and ensuring safe delivery
• Provide weekly data and counts for supply chain

Experience required:

We are seeking a candidate with prior experience in a stores/stock role. As you'll be joining a small team, the ability to collaborate effectively with others is essential, while also demonstrating the capacity to work independently.
