I'm recruiting for an Engineering Stores Administrator to join a well established company based locally to Southall!

Daily duties will include:

  • Ensure the ordering, receiving, issuing and disposal of stores stock is undertaken in accordance with procedures at all times.
  • Ensure correct and timely capturing of delivery notes and invoices.
  • Process all new stock take-on and ensure that bins are allocated for new stock items.
  • Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained.
  • Initiate the ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levels have been reached.
  • Ensure that inventory is organised to facilitate accessibility and safety for the store.
  • Plan and manage regular stock take to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
  • Continuously improve processes to increase stores efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare and provide inventory reports as required by Management.
  • Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis and control the cost of stores inventory
  • Monitor where the inventory is being issued to and track area spend.
  • Raise orders for the engineering team and source non-stock items required.
  • Ensure that all accounts with key suppliers are up to date and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Ensure relevant inspection of goods upon receipt for accuracy vs. order.
  • Track and report on spend and ensure meets the budgetary requirements set out by management.
  • Ensure all KPI metrics are tracked as deemed necessary by management.

You MUST have strong PC skills and experience using SAP!

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 0800am - 1630pm
