Are you an engineering manager or a senior engineer ready to take the step up into an Engineering Manager role? This could be the perfect post for you. This is an opportunity to work with a growing business who have plans to treble the turnover in the coming years. With plans in place to increase the headcount by 50%, this is a great time to join a multisite business going from strength to strength. With a strong orderbook and working with an interesting portfolio of customers, this role would suit a hands on engineer with a strong background of managing small teams and working in highly regulated industries.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the plant manager, this role will see you managing a small team of team of engineers and toolmakers.
• You will be responsible for the management of the production machinery and facilities on the site.
• PPM planning and CMMS management.
• You will manage the budget for the engineering department.
• Providing training for the engineering department.
• You will occasionally be required to work in a hands on capacity.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• The successful candidate will come from a background of engineering management or a senior engineering role.
• Apprenticeship trained and electrically biased, ideally multiskilled.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
• Experience managing small teams.
