Engineering Manager - Ribworld
This role will lead the Engineering team on-site to deliver excellent maintenance services to support the production department.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide Leadership and clear direction to the Engineering Department
  • Agree and control department budget in line with company policy.
  • Work with H&S Manager to ensure site regulatory and statutory compliance.
  • Deliver agreed maintenance asset care programs to provide equipment availability >85%
  • Ensure equipment and processes are maintained within their safe design and operating limits.
  • Promote and deliver a comprehensive and effective Preventative Maintenance program that ensures equipment reliability is optimal.
  • Support the Engineering team and provide technical skills/back up, with a view to resolving recurring issues, design outs and modifications.
  • Ensure Safe Food 360 is used effectively to capture, evaluate, Plan and Schedule all maintenance activity.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on Engineering KPI’s

Skills and Experience Required

  • Mechanical or Electrical third level qualification or relevant trades qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing industry is essential, Food Industry experience an advantage
  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • Proven organisation and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
