The company boasts an impressive Industry leading reputation, specialising in the supply, manufacture and distribution of off-grid power on projects across the UK. They now require a engineering manager to work closely with their in-house staff and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard.

This is a brilliant role for an experienced engineering manager to gain some great insight to large scale energy solutions, specifically within power generation and distribution. The Role:

• 
  Develop a 'Lean Product development' culture with a focus on systems, SOP's and good 'drawing office' practice.
• 
  Line manage the department.
• 
  Help the CTO in developing an agile, can do attitude within the team.
• 
  Help ensure the team contribute innovative product development ideas to the business.
• 
  Ensure all projects are up to date on our project management system - identifying potential problems as early as possible.
• 
  Liaise with engineers to update progress and revise schedules as needed.

The Person:

• 3+ Years engineering management experience within a Power Distribution / Generation sector.
• Positive, Can-do attitude to thrive in all eventualities.
• Highly developed organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have relevant engineering qualifications (Prince2, BEng in engineering discipline)
• Based in Rochester/Aylesford (Kent).
