Engineering CAD Technician

At the heart of Newark, a leader in precision and innovation is looking for a meticulous Engineering CAD Technician to bring visionary projects from blueprint to reality.
Your New RoleYou'll be an integral part of the design team, tasked with:

• Creating detailed design models and drawings from initial sketches to final submissions.
• Refining existing models and producing as-built drawings for our cutting-edge developments.
• Engaging with clients to meet their specifications and exceed their expectations.
• Contributing design expertise to ongoing projects and tender preparations.
• Ensuring all materials and components are meticulously ordered and tracked.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD software, ideally Autocad & Inventor.
• A strong command of MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and team members.
• A proactive approach to work, capable of independent initiative and collaborative teamwork.
• An engineering background, supported by relevant qualifications.
