This leading EV powertrain consultancy is looking for you to deliver new projects for major vehicle OEMs across the construction, marine and commercial spaces (to name a few). The role
You’ll own the development of embedded control systems and dynamic models, in both MATLAB and Simulink. Often, you’ll have the opportunity to build algorithms from a blank canvas.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering your own small projects
- Owning project design and verification
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Maintaining a high level of industry expertise and competitive intelligence
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and customers at all levels
- Building close working relationships with your direct team
The requirements
Experience in electrified propulsion systems, transmission and driveline, or powertrain testing is ideal for this role, as well as:
- Degree educated in Mechanical, Electrical or Control system Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of post-grad engineering experience
- Able to work from fundamental engineering principles
- Detailed understanding of industry market trends and competitor capabilities
- Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to maintain a strong personal impression
- Strong communication, articulation and presentation skills
- Able to translate complex information into simple messages
- Fluent in English and French/German/Japanese/Chinese is a plus
- Keen to develop personally and professionally
- Flexible and willing to travel
