We are a leading UK Debt Recovery Enforcement Group and proud partner to Transport for London. We've been growing for 40 years and we're passionate about developing our people, investing in technology, and setting industry standards for ethical conduct.

Due to ongoing expansion, we are excited to recruit a number of new Trainee Enforcement Agents in the area. All successful candidates will receive exceptional training and support through our Enforcement Training Academy, helping you to become fully skilled and certificated.

Debt Collection is a tightly regulated industry with strong ethical standards, and every visit you make is legally approved by a Judge.

What might a typical week look like for you?

Visiting debtors' properties to arrange payment of outstanding debts.
Setting up and agreeing repayment arrangements.
Assisting debtors in completing questionnaires.
Taking control of goods - where required.
Removing goods - where necessary.
Making inquiries with neighbours if debtors have moved or left a property.
Compiling short reports about your visit, along with any necessary paperwork.
Assessing debtor vulnerability and signposting them to support services - if required.
Liaising with office-based colleagues regarding active cases.
Working by yourself, often in different geographical areas each day.
Handling cash payments - where required.

Enforcement is a challenging task, and so we work hard to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need. Our Enforcement Training Academy brings the benefit of over 40 years of experience in the field to each of our new joiners through a range of learning experiences including classroom-based, remote, and on-the-job training. We use cutting-edge behavioural science research to inform your first steps into the world of Enforcement, giving you the confidence to resolve even the most complex cases. And even better, you're paid for the whole training period, ensuring you can get up and running without a hitch!

Your benefits include:

£23,800 - £26,000 basic salary + bonuses + overtime (OTE £50,000 to £70,000).
Achievable bonus level of at least double your basic salary, with opportunities for earnings in excess of this for consistently exceptional performance.
29 days holiday - including bank holidays, increasing with service and with the opportunity to top up with extra days via banked leave and other incentive schemes.

Other information
Please note this is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week - often unsocial hours including evenings and weekends to ensure you can reach people when they're at home.

You don't need previous experience to be considered; however, you do need a full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years) and be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
